What is the meaning of the scores and how are they useful to investors?
The Climate Module indicates a portfolio’s performance on, contribution to and exposure to climate change across a set of distinctive insights.
- The carbon score evaluates the current and anticipated future performance on GHG emissions, as well as the implied or committed reduction efforts of the portfolio’s constituent companies.
- 2°C Alignment measures the 2020, 2025 and 2030 alignment of the portfolio with the Paris Climate Agreement’s 2°C warming scenario.
- The carbon footprint provides 3 TCFD-approved measures of the carbon emissions attributable to the portfolio.
